8 lug aluminum slots
16.5x8.25 8 lug Shelby Cal 500 aluminum slots for sale.
Some minor curb rash on a few of them that I have highlighted as best I can in the close-ups. These were on the 72 I just bought since the summer of 73 according to the original owner. Overall pretty nice shape. Comes with the 4 caps shown, but the lug nuts pictured are optional (since these came off a 72, the lugs are 9/16" whereas pre-71 had 1/2" lugs). Will take a few posts to get all the pics in. Let me know if you have any questions. - $325 shipped conus with lug nuts (lug nuts are for 71/72 only, i.e. 9/16" I think 2 washers are missing) - $305 shipped conus without lug nuts (i.e. if you have a pre-71 with 1/2" lugs or you just want to buy new lugs for your 71/72 - these have some surface rust). - $150 local pickup. 496BB has dibs on these, I have contacted him via pm. He has seen the ad (when the shipping costs were posted in the previous camper shell ad, that is), so will wait a few days to see if he still wants them, then they are up for grabs. Note - NO TIRES INSTALLED NOW, just showing them with the 16.5x9.50 rubber on them for reference. The tires have been dismounted, all stems removed, etc. They are boxed and ready to ship (5 boxes=4 wheels+1 for the caps/(lugs). Shipping is USPS Standard Deliv, approx. 7 days from shipment to arrive. Last edited by jocko; 05-11-2013 at 10:11 PM. |

Re: 8 lug aluminum slots
I understand guys. I really want to sell them and I want to sell them to someone on here. New, LOWEST price. Just can't go any lower than this. This is $30 per wheel...

Re: 8 lug aluminum slots
Hang in there Jocko. Someone will come to there senses and buy these awesome slots. If I had a C20 or C30 they would be on there way to Michigan.
One of the coolest period correct custom rims available in my opinion. |

Re: 8 lug aluminum slots
If it weren't for the $150 shipping and tires being so expensive/limited for 16.5's I would be all over it.

Re: 8 lug aluminum slots
I realize that tires are expensive, but the tires are the same price here as they are anywhere, not cheap. The old tires aren't on them now because the last person that said something to the effect of "if I'd only ship them, they'd take them no matter what". So, I paid to get them dismounted, then packaged them, took em to fedex and had them weighed and ready to go - yet here they sit... And I didn't even get taken to dinner. That's pretty awesome.
I wish shipping weren't so much either - but on stuff like this, it is usually more than the parts themselves, but that's just how it is, unfortunately. I paid about $150 for a $50 fender once, and did it gladly because I really needed it. Anyhoo. If anyone is still interested, they are still for sale. |

Re: 8 lug aluminum slots
I think you would have no problem selling these on craigslist locally. You can advertise them for Chevy, Ford, and Dodge as well giving you a lot more potential buyers.

Re: 8 lug aluminum slots
thx scott, haven't done CL yet for these, but did advertise in 2 local sale papers and called all my "truck friends" locally. Looks like I'm probably gonna end up keepin these pups. Feel kinda like I'm almost giving em away. Thanks for the input, will leave em up a little longer then decide whether or not to keep em. The 16.5 steelies got gooned up by the pc'er, so hopefully they turn out alright on the re-do. We will see. If they are not done correctly, maybe I'll just put the slots on the 71 super. Hmm. Thanks again guys (and thanks for the bump Tim!)
Hey Scott - the avatar is looking sweet!!! When do we get some full truck teasers...? |
