Rear tire size question firebird rear.
So curious trying to get everything mocked up running a firebird rear end with axle flip. Considering cutting the inner bedsides for wider tire. Anyone done this?? Seen a few around. I honestly plan on running drag lites also.

Wow cant believe I forgot that part...Truck is a 57 and the rear is from a 78. Still debating on an axle flip or just drop shackles.

Re: Rear tire size question firebird rear.
Actually have it on a 81 frame with ez chassis swap. Not very happy with it but oh well....Anyways using a 78 rear from a firebird my dad had. 323 gear 350 turbo.
Im trying to get everything finished mocked up because im almost ready for paint. Im gonna run pro star wheels with skinnies up front so shouldnt have clearance problems. |
