Texas foul weather- hope you made it through OK
I know there are a LOT of my fellow 73-87 people on this forum that live in the area of Texas that just got blasted with softball size hail and devastating tornado winds. I know for a fact I have dealt with someone that had Granbury under his name and parts of that town are now leveled. . My 75 454 SWB went that way too. just letting you know that My wife & I (she's from N.E.Texas) are saying some prayers for Ya'll. Crossy

We have family in Granbury. They said the tornado was about five miles from them but got some severe hail. I know some didn't fare quite as well.

Re: Texas foul weather- hope you made it through OK
Thanks for everyone's thoughts & prayers for the north Texas area... We live about 80 miles north of Granbury and were spared from the storms last night as the most tornadic parts were to our south & west.
The local news just released the newest reports on the activity & destruction that was incurred. There were a total of 16 confirmed tornados in the north texas area last night. Granbury took the hardest hit with an catagory EF-4 tornado (166-200 mph winds). There are also 6 confirmed fatalities and dozens of injuries in Granbury alone. Granbury's tornado was a half mile in width at its widest point and travelled on the ground for 2.75 miles. Several homes were leveled all the way to the foundation. You come to expect this type of weather in this area but it never gets easier to overcome the devastation that it can bring. Please keep all those affected in your prayers. If your interested in this type of weather you should check out www.texasstormchasers.com. This is a group of professional spotters that are awesome with up to date info, live streaming video feeds and all. We've come to depend on them more than the local news outlets. I hate to see them driving through my area... Haha! Posted via Mobile Device |

There are seven members listed in Granbury. Not sure how many are still active on the forum.

The weather in Texas has been crazy lately! My stepdad lives in Hitchcock-a suburb of Houston and he had his park model mobile home and his 2005 Silveraldo get totaled out with hail in April. You guy's are sure getting hit this year.
