wheel back spacing
I'm looking at some 18" boyds here are the sizes. 18"x9.5" (5.5" backspace) & 18"x8" (5.0" backspace).
Is that to much back space for a 72 truck with a 2/3 drop? Will they rub anything? The price is right if they fit. Thanks for the help.

I've got 18x9.5" with 5.25" BS and 18x8" with 4.5" BS on my truck. So I'd say those would fit okay. Anybody else agree? Disagree?

2 much
Sounds like too much to me. 4-1/2 inch is the happiest my truck has been. No rubs - lock-to-lock, front or rear.

I would say the 18x8 with the 4.5" back space would be best if you go anymore the back wheels will rub.
