Re: Ford 9 inch
There was a vendor on ebay that sold custom housings for reasonable prices.
Looked pretty tempting judging from pics and description. If I can just blow out my 8" I'll look him up. |

Re: Ford 9 inch
Does anybody know the WMS to WMS dimension of a stock 72 housing? I have never seen it posted and I forgot to measure last time I had my truck apart.

Re: Ford 9 inch
mid 70's thunderbirds and some other full size ford cars had 9" disc brake setups with 5"x5" bolt pattern and the flange width is almost identical to our trucks. just weld on some new perches and you're good to go.

I too am running a Currie 9" along with a Detroit locker. Ordered direct from Currie, was shipped to my door and bolted it in NO problem

Re: Ford 9 inch
I priced a Currie 9" years ago at $1100. Put 9" on back burner and ran my 8". I would still like a 9" but the last time I checked the Currie 9" price is much higher. Snooze and loose
