I suppose it would depend upon which one you use up front. Balance is the key, if you over-do either, it can have a negative effect.

Front is 7/8...... I have a choice on rear, I'm thinking 5/8 is better for rear since its smaller

Have you driven it with just the front yet? You may not need it. The rear bar would only be helpful if you had too much oversteer.

Re: sway bars front rear combo?
Thanks for the replys, but I was kinda hoping someone has already added, removed, or whatever..and can suggest which, haven't driven it yet, just wanting to do all the fab suff first.
, So, If I add a 7/8 bar to the front, on a 52' mustang 2 front, nova rear, leaf spring. .. What do you suggest for the back? Nothing? Or a 5/8 rear bar, or larger? Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: sway bars front rear combo?
skip99, I'm running the same setup your talking about. Mine's a 50 with Mustang II front with coilovers, GM brakes, 74 Nova rear axle on aftermarket leaf springs. I have a 7/8" bar up front with nothing in the back. I live in the Ozarks with lots of hills and curves and I've had no problems with the truck. Truck handles well and rides good. You can check out my build for pics on the install....Jim
