Hey all from VA

Hey! My name is Rick and Im in Berryville VA. I have a 54 with a blown sbc/700r4 and am getting ready to tear it back apart for some changes. Im not sure but I believe it was clipped with a camaro front end and has a 10 bolt open rear. This is how it came to me - motor, trans, and paint. My new plan is to put a 9 inch under it, c notch the frame rails, install air ride suspension, id. the front clip and update it to accept the air ride, and finally repaint it. Found this site and am blown away by all of the info and fine trucks on here! Looking forward to getting to know some of you.

Regards,
Rick

hotrodelrod, welcome to the site. There a bunch of great people on here. Now we need some pictures and it sounds like a great plan for the truck.

I was kind of on the fence. The paint was starting to bubble on the front fenders and I knew I wanted to change rearends, notch frame, add air ride, etc. Just figured be easier to tear apart again. Also interior was never finished. That said could have drove it as is and just enjoyed it. I do have other toys though.
