These have been modified to accept small block motor mounts. Comes with the stands, SBC mounts and hardware. Had installed in my truck before switching over to Porterbuilt front crossmember.

Re: 68-71 BBC Frame Stands and Mounts

What is the difference in the mount between SBC and BBC? I see the hole was made smaller in the stand.

Re: 68-71 BBC Frame Stands and Mounts

From what I know the rubber mount that bolts to the engine for 68-71 big blocks is very expensive and if you either use a large washer or weld one in the frame stands like I did you can use the small block mounts which are much much cheaper. I followed this FAQ thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=122645

Yes I had them mounted in my 68 2wd with a big block. Modifying them to use the small block motor mounts just makes it easier as the small block mounts are cheaper to come by.
