Guage ?
What's the trick to touching up the white on the face plates of the smaller stock gauges? Mine have a rusty look to them and I was wondering how to fix them.

Wow, I couldn't even imagine trying to do that.
Parts board maybe? I know that's what I'd do. |

gauge
The white paint on those gauges is a reflective type paint that comes off the black with just water!!! IF you are seeing rust in the white, you can be sure it is under the black as well. Best bet is to find a junker gauge cluster or post in the "For sale or wanted" column---"need some real good gauges". Replacements from guys who part out these trucks are like next to nothing---just shipping cost and a removal/package up fee. You can also convert the black gauges to white with black lettering with a plastic covering kit sold via e-bay for like $20. Mixed reviews on that however. Good luck----Huck
