Broken vent...

my outside air vent (the one in between the hood and front window) is broke and is stuck open. My question is, does this affect my A/C..will the A/C Be competing with the hotter air to cool it down and make my A/C not as cold??

If your ac is sucking air in from the Cab instead of outside it would be the equivelent of the Max setting on newer vehicles
