Early morning drive in Saskatchewan :)
Was home at the farm for the weekend visiting my parents, and got up before 4 this morning for the three hour drive back for work. I was sleepy, but as soon as the Chevy rumbled to life it was all okay! Here's some pictures from my drive...it was a beautiful morning in the land of living skies!

Re: Early morning drive in Saskatchewan :)
Very nice, thanks for sharing.
My wife and kids give me a hard time about getting up so early in the morning, even on off days...its the only time I can see the sunrise. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Early morning drive in Saskatchewan :)
Thanks guys, I just couldn't keep those to myself. My chevy has been apart for 5 years, and finally back on the road a few weeks ago (roadworthy but lots to do yet lol). I must say that driving it brings me an immense amount of satisfaction and joy. Coupled with a morning like that, and a TimHortons coffee (I'm canadian thru and thru , I couldn't be much happier.

Re: Early morning drive in Saskatchewan :)
Nice pics. There is something to driving an old truck in the wee hours on a deserted highway with a hot brew. Makes a man feel alive. Although I would have to drive a little ways to find a Tim Hortons lol.
Thanks for posting.

Yep, Land of the Living Sky and that is true. Nice pics and yes mornings here are gorgeous. I've thought of getting a pic of my truck at night with the Northern Lights dancing in the background.

Re: Early morning drive in Saskatchewan :)
Thanks for the kind comments guys! I don't take pics too often, just once in awhile when I'm inspired. Maybe next year if I get the chevy painted it'll be more photogenic haha.
Here's a photo my brother took of the truck and I last weekend...it's my latest favorite.
