new to the c10 world
Hi everyone! I am relatively new to the c10 game. I used to own a 79 but now I have found a 70 and am the proud new owner. The craigslist ad said that the truck had fuel problems and hadnt run in a few years. My buddy went to pick it up with me and after one turn of the starter he realized that it was the timing was preventing it from running and within five minutes. So for 800 bucks I loaded up a running 1970 c10. I am trying to button everything together now to get it road worthy and drive back and forth to work while fixing it up. after some intense cleaning and replacing a few bulbs and a door handle its almost ready. the only thing holding me back right now is the front brakes. I need to bleed them and then everything will be ready. Having a little trouble getting a wrench on the bleeder due to the angle of the valve (any advice or tips would be great help) After reading through numerous threads and seeing all the progress and possibilities that others have done, I am extremely excited to dive in head first and create something i can really be proud of.

Re: new to the c10 world
Welcome to the madness. For some reason the 73-84 trucks never gained the love that the earlier models do. Personally I have never liked them. However the 67-72 trucks I am in love with.
Enjoy and post pictures!
