Help with seat selection - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Would bucket seats out of a 67 to 72 blazer bolt into a 68 c10? Does any body have any suggestions for a bench seat with a flip down centre console that would fit with out too much hassle?

Yes they will, and you might want to just look for a Buddy Buckets set up, that will solve both of your problems.

Another idea that has been used many times is the seat from an '88-98 regular cab. My '96 SLE GMC has one with a fold-down arm rest that also stores CD/tapes. It is a perfect fit, side-to-side. Minor attention to the floor mounting and life is good.

I got a 2nd row '98 Tahoe seat for my '69, but there's no fore/aft adjustment. Again, it fits from side to side, but it doesn't have the center arm rest you want.

Where do I get a set of the bucket buddy seats? Is that the oem seat or is that a new after market seat?

Ridgeclimber,there's usually some Buddy Buckets for sale on the classifieds forum.A word of warning,they are PRICEY.Expect to pay up to $700 for a decent frame and springs and maybe as much as $1200+ for a completely retored set.The later model seats can be had from Pull-a-part for about $100.

the passenger side blazer seat has a knob on it so that you can flip the seat forward for people to get into the back... i don't know if its the same for all of them or not
