Re: Is annyone running these manifolds ?

I have a Doman/China on my pass. side with the A.I.R. holes. It came with pipe plugs to plug them up. It seems to be holding up fine. It's not a center dump though. 2WD. Speedway Motors also has the E-Bay style in chrome or ceramic coat , I think.

Re: Is annyone running these manifolds ?

I don't think they would clear the cross member. Our stock manifolds dump about 15-20 deg. to the rear.

Re: Is annyone running these manifolds ?

I'm looking at running the big center dumps on my 72 C20. I will move the engine to the rear (4x4) mount holes to hopefully give enough room to get exhaust connected.

When I rebuild the engine in the K20 I will probably run a set of these and go with bigger pipes.

Thanks for the replies so far !!! Keep 'em coming !!

Re: Is annyone running these manifolds ?

Just got a set of these $85 shipped, http://www.am-autoparts.com/1971/GMC...51/462339.html

They look like Dormans with the AIR plugged and the part numbers ground off. They didn't come with any of the hardware, but it wasn't hard to find locally and still less than the $190 for the Dormans with the hardware.

Hopefully I'll get them cleaned up some more and on next week.

That first link with all the hardware looks like a great deal!

Re: Is annyone running these manifolds ?

Just noticed the price on the E-Bay ones. That is a good price! Here's the Speedway link.

The Wysco ones look more authentic. I think those are the Corvette center dumps. I don't know why they machined the generator mount off though.

I have a set on my truck, I also have Cpp motor mounts and they clear no problem.
