1967 K10 overflow bottle location
Request if anyone could help me out with what the factory coolant overflow bottle looks like and it's location. Here is a pic of the duct taped version the PO installed in mine.

There was no factory overflow bottle in 67. I've seen people use a washer bottle moved to the otherside by the battery that looked factory. Chris

Re: 1967 K10 overflow bottle location
got it, thanks. Do you guys see any reason to keep one? This is a rebuilt bone stock 283 4 spd, SWB 4X4 that sees just normal driving...nothing offroad or hotrodding what so ever.

Re: 1967 K10 overflow bottle location
Great thanks! Should I plug the tit on the rad or just leave it open?

Just run a hose down to just below the frame. That will let overflow to just drip on the ground. Chris

Re: 1967 K10 overflow bottle location
I put mine over here. I think it's the spot for the windshield wash bottle, but honestly....who really needs that anyways. Of course, who really needs a rad overflow either.
