Rough Country Lift
So i bought a lift for my 76 3/4 ton. Everything went on fine. Front lift springs, rear blocks, rear extended brake hose. Then I get to the front hoses. They wont fit. They are the right length, but the banjo bolt for the caliper is too big to go through the new fitting. I went to autozone and had them pull me a replacement caliper and hose to verify that mine were correct. Turns out they are and the stock hose has a larger opening then the one from Rough Country. I call rough country and they dont know what happened. Maybe a faulty hose build. So they send me new ones and they still dont fit. I am %100 sure its a dana 44. Im %90 sure that they are stock correct axles front and back. I just dont know why they dont fit. Does anyone have any suggestions???? Any other problems like this from Rough Country?

Re: Rough Country Lift
10 bolt and Dana 44 took different sized banjo bolts.
If I had to guess, I think the Dana 44 took 7/16 size and the Corp10 (and Dana 60) took 10mm bolts. The axles may be stock, but the calipers might be swapped. |
