Front tire width help

I have a 69 c10 lowered with 2.5 drop spindles in the front. Will i have clearance issues with a 275/60-17 tire and wheel with a 4'' backspacing and zero offset mounted on the front? I want to run the widest tire I can on the rear but also be able to rotate all 4 tires. If this tire is too wide for the front what is the widest tire i should clear on the front? All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joe

Re: Front tire width help

how often will you need to rotate tires? buy some that fit right in front and other size for rear.

255/60 R17 were the biggest I could fit with an 8 inch wheel. 275's are a bit too wide.

^ +1

These are not 17s, but 15x8, 4.25 backspacing, 255/60/15 -- almost too wide...
