Newby in the Arizona Mountains
Hey All, glad to find this site.
I'm an old retired fart that's done hot rods and muscle cars my whole life. Got tired of my last toy, an LS2 -T56 Miata, mainly car shows and some track days so it's finally goin' up for sale. Wasn't looking to do another truck, my last was a 1967 GMC SWB from $600.00 Junker to show truck. But, this dropped into my lap, it's a Ranch Truck, that spent 30 years on a friends family ranch, sat for 12 years with spun rod bearings in the original 307. I'm the 3rd owner, the trucks never left this town and I'm pretty stoked about doing a resto-mod, original patina theme to it. It's the original colors, in and out with some light over-painting on the bed from years ago. I've got thousands of posts on other Forums through the years, and I hope to learn a lot from everybody in here, including the old hands and the pros. Thanks - Lee

Re: Newby in the Arizona Mountains
Thanks for the warm Welcome! And you are in fact an older, old fart than me, Viet nam USN 1970-74. My 3 kids are grown and I have 8 grandkids and
I've always worked hard in my youth proving the saying: " You have to be young and stupid, before you can become old and wise.
