Re: WTB 79-up Silverado horn button

I might have one.
I bought what I think was a NOS one for my K5, but I am going to title it GMC when I body swap it (see my sig).

When I get home I will see if I can dig it up.

Re: WTB 79-up Silverado horn button

I dug up the horn button, it has been stashed away since I bought it, probably 5 or 6 years ago.

I am pretty sure it is brand new (NOS), but it does not have any packaging.
Not sure what to ask?

I won't have access to my camera until later tonight, but this one has the little horn/trumpet image on it.

Re: WTB 79-up Silverado horn button

There's a few on ebay in very good condition going for around $75. If you're is that nice I'd ask that much for it. I'm trying to find one for about half that. This is for a friend of a friend. I haven't even met the guy but have worked on his truck. It's a black 78 short step that he's given a freshened up 350/350 all stock. Paint and body is done. Now its getting carpet and some interior work. It's missing the horn button. It doesn't have to be the best one around, just clean with no cracks. It's going to be installed on the original steering wheel.
