What size transmission cooler line ??
I'm going to be removing my hard lines from my transmission cooler and adding an external cooler. Question is, will -6 lines and fittings be ok to run??
Thanks!! Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: What size transmission cooler line ??
You probrolly would want to run it through the rad and the aux tranny cooler. Sorry that I didn't answer your question really.

Re: What size transmission cooler line ??
AN-6 hose is approximately 3/8" ID , so it would be fine for trans cooler lines, as long as you use good quality hose that is rated for the pressure and temperature.

Re: What size transmission cooler line ??
As Eddie H. said, AN -6 is equivalent to 3/8" hard line so that is the correct size.

Re: What size transmission cooler line ??
Thanks for clearing that up guys...
I was trying to avoid running the hardlines up to the radiator to keep it looking clean up there. Ive talked to several guys using this same setup with no issues. This is the cooler im going to be running. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/der-13266/overview/ Posted via Mobile Device |
