Classic Parts Speaker listings
On the website, they've got two. One listed for trucks with A/C, and one for trucks without A/C.
The thing is, the A/C speaker has tweeters in it, so it would sound better. Could I put the A/C speaker in a non-air truck?

Re: Classic Parts Speaker listings
The one for AC is most likely a thinner profile to allow for routing of duct hose.
I just installed a replacement dash speaker from Custom auto sound, the one on the right: http://www.classiccarstereos.com/cat...rs-No-Air.html it has a dual voice coil so it takes 2 sets of speaker wires one RT one LT, it sounds ok but a little lacking in depth, still wish i could have listened to some before purchasing. Then i found this 6X9 and wish i had bought it instead.. I'm sure it sounds better than any of the ones you mentioned or the one's from Classic in the first link above, and it looks like there is enough room to fit it under the dash, but before i ever order it i'd find a 6X9 and see if it did indeed fit. http://www.classiccarstereos.com/pro...kers/3006.html I'm interested to know what you think of your purchase.

Re: Classic Parts Speaker listings
Yeah, I figured it was thinner.
With a little other research, I had read that a two smaller speakers are better than one big one, so I went ahead and ordered the two smaller ones. My current speaker doesn't even work anymore

Re: Classic Parts Speaker listings
I found a couple small 6x9 enclosures and put them behind the seat on each side. doesn't sound to bad.
