Add-on pulley for AC???

This is my last change to tried to investagate if adding AC to chevy 250(easy/cheap). I saw at thepartguy.com sells this add-on pulley. This is realiable or has somebody tried this???
My chevy 250 engine is running with 2 grooves pulley but before I a sanden compressor/AC system, I need to know if this possible. An easy solution without adding pulley to Alt, steering pump or installing 3 grooves pulley.

Re: Add-on pulley for AC???

I would get ahold of the seller and ask some questions. They might be able to help. I can't see the pulley being a problem. The biggest issue with an aftermarket A/C is the fwd-aft placement of the compressor, which will determine if the belt will align with the A/C pulley on the crank.

The older I get, I'll do whatever it takes to put power steering, power brakes, and A/C on everything I have, so my answer is YES.

Re: Add-on pulley for AC???

That pulley looks to be the same pulley used on the small block with a short water pump, for driving the power steering pump. I don't remember for sure, but it seems like that does bolt up to the 230/250 balancer/pulley assembly.
