Couple of questions...
1) Whats the EASY way to get the windshield wipersoff? I've tried to pry that damn little tab but I can't get the wiper off.
2) How can I adjust my steering column? My shifter is positioned to far to the left. When I'm in park, the needle is past the gauge. When I go to L2 the pointer stops at L1. Anyone? Thanks

1. I put thick rubber or sponge on the cowling and use a screwdriver blade longwise as a pry. When re-installing dab the wiper arm ball with some grease.
2. I went thru this before but can't remember. Did I loosen the column and turn it instead of trying to find a way to adjust the shifter mechanism itself?

I DON'T HAVE AN ANSWER FOR THE SHIFTER INDICATOR LOCATION, BUT FOR THE WIPER ARM REMOVAL, K-D MAKES A SET OF WIPER ARE REMOVAL PLIERS(K-D 2039), THAT WILL REMOVE THEM IN ABOUT 3 SECONDS, WITHOUT DAMAGING ANYTHING. THEY'RE UNDER $10 & AMERICAN MADE. (A PRETTY GOOD INVESTMENT)

Yep, go with the KD tool. I tried and tried and tried the screwdriver thing, and just ended up scratching my cowl. Bought the KD 2039 and had both wiper arms off in seconds!! Wish I had done it the right way the first time......

OK, I'll give the shifter a try----you have two things to consider---one is the adjustment on the shifter shaft under the hood, and the other is the clamping of the steering column to the firewall&the dash. If it is an original steering column, there is a notch in the top of the outer part of the steering column that is suppose to fit onto a raised area right under the bezel area of the dash. Assuming you get thuis allignment correct then you should be able to get your neddle alignment from the auto shifter rod adjustment which is right where the rod attaches to the steering column shifter arm. good luck~~~huck
