Battery not charging

I have a 67 c10 and a the other week my altinatior went bad so i replaced it and the truck ran fine for a bit and now the battery wont charge. I put a new voltage regulator in it today and the truck still wont charge. Any advice?

Re: Battery not charging

Bring the alt and reg back and get an internally regulated one, the price should be about the same. Jump a couple of wires and many charging issues magically disappear. I changed the alt and reg and thought I was fine until I realized I was just running off a freshly charged battery. I chased wires for weeks and couldn't solve my problem until I switched. DO the conversion, you won't regret it.

This is the basic idea. I jumped the wires differently via VetteVet's instructions

Re: Battery not charging

How do you know the battery is not bad? Most alternator failures are caused by bad batteries.

Re: Battery not charging

You will find two little 4 amp fuses in harness that runs across top of core support, check them ?
