Seperating of hub and rotor

To separate the hub from front rotor on 71 dish brakes, Do I just need to press out the lug bolts to separate the two or do I need to press the center hub off as well also. Original combo since Blazer was new. Thanks for any input........... Mike

You have knock out the studs first. Easier if you have a brass hammer. Put the brass hammer against the stud then with a larger ball peen hit the other end of the brass. 2 hits the stud should be out. The hub should fall away from the rotor at that point unless major rust has ensued

I use a large press to put the studs back in

Thanks guys, I was just checking to see if I needed my press to remove the studs or just use the hammer and drift method...Will use press to reinstall studs.. Again thanks for your input....Mike
