Tailgate letter instructions
I seem to be the only person who actually got instructions with the tailgate letters. I thought I had thrown them away but they were still laying on my work bench so I thought I'd post them in case anyone might need or want them. Got a little hot glue on section one but otherwise still legible.

Re: Tailgate letter instructions
I remember the urban legend of a set of "magnets" that were used up until the late 80's. GM painted the gate area white, applied magnet letters to the raised area and then shot the gate body color. The rest of the bodies were sprayed in a different area. The magnets were cleaned frequently and resurfaced occasionally to keep a tight edge from what I've heard.

Re: Tailgate letter instructions
I always use just windex when installing letters. Works like a charm. Never needed to puncture anything. Just used a credit card to squeegee them on.

Re: Tailgate letter instructions
If you apply the fuzzy half of a velcro strip to the edge of a plastic bondo spreader you'll have a very nice tool to "squeegee" your vinyl graphics.
