Re: Project two tone.
Here's another. It's a 292 with a 600 cfm edelbrock and clifford intake with headers.

Re: Project two tone.
Well, I have a heck of alot to catch up on. Thanks administration for fixing the uploading problem! Since I last put up pictures I have painted the rear frame, gotten a new set of tires, primed the bed and fenders, got a new set of mirrors,
new fuel tank, brakes, and a master cylinder. Here's a picture of the mirror, Jr West Chrome off of Classic Parts.

Re: Project two tone.
A little history on the rig, It was bought new in 66 and used as a log truck until the 90's. The original bed was taken off and replaced by a flatbed. It was loaded to the hilt with logs and served as an off road truck even though it is only two wheel drive. Sometime in the early 2000 somehow a friend of mine found it in the revene and talk to the man and he said he could have it if he could take it outta their. After putting some fuel down the carb and cranking it they finally got it to start, after 13 years off sitting in that revene. My friend decided he didn't want it so one day I found him in my driveway with the truck and he said I could have it. It sat for another 5 years before I started the restoration.

Re: Project two tone.
Here's a picture of the flatbed that used to be on it during loging days. That thing weighs about 600 pounds! Sometimes I wonder why I took it off, Most of the time I'm glad I pulled it off!LOL!

Re: Project two tone.
Just some more pictures... Kinda a funny story. The white truck is a 3/4 ton 64, that I got off a friend. The reason my truck is their with the hood popped open is because I had to pull the starter off mine, and put it on the 64,lucky they both have the same motor! Anyway cause the starter was bad on the 64. Turns out I was able to get it running after 15 years! The white 64 is my parts truck. Wish I would have been able to restore both.

Re: Project two tone.
I painted the strip on the hood silver, thought it looked neat. This was not a factory option but would have been neat if it was!

Re: Project two tone.
Thanks! the arms on the mirrors are adjustable, loosen the bolt and they slide back and forth, come in handy so the mirrors don't appear diagonal.

Gonna put the truck to good use today on the farm while waiting on a friend from here on getting his spare tire carrier. Hoping to do a spare tire attachment fender style.
