King Ranch seats in a C-10??

Anyone tried this? I saw a few thread beginnings but no responses. I'm rebuilding a 68 stepside, and just ordered some with a console off eBay. Any knowledge is greatly appreciated.

I want to see pics.I think you'll find that the seat backs are too thick to give you enough room between them and the wheel but they are super comfy. The only other thing I can think of is the reaction when people see you using "Furd" parts.

I really looked into this myself as well. I obviously would look into purchasing a nice leather conditioner and removing the KR logo's right in the middle. Depending on how old they are you might want to keep the logo, as the color difference would look really tacky. Good luck and I would like to see how they fit

Re: King Ranch seats in a C-10??

I got the seats and console for $1000. They should be waiting for me when I finish the trip I'm on now. I feel like a kid at Christmas! I'm hoping they fit. They're not really that thick.

I dont know why I was assuming they were the rear seats. The front bucket seats look like they shouldn't have too many issues with size. They actually look really low to the ground too, did you remove the brackets or any of the bottom support?

Re: King Ranch seats in a C-10??

Nope, that's how they came. The cab floor of a F250 must have a vertical ridge along the front as the bracket is vertical. I'll have to fab something to bolt it to our flat floorboard. I thought about getting a seat of the rear seats because I think they're a little thinner, but they also don't have the armrests. Picked the seats up yesterday. THe driver's is gonna need new skin before installing. The leather is in pretty poor shape in that blackened area.
