250/292 Power Steering Brackets?

I have a 1966 1/2 ton with a 230 inline six, manual steering. Will the factory power steering setup. (brackets, ps pump, power steering gearbox) out of a 1970 1/2 ton with a 292 work for in my 66?

From what I've read, 194-230-250 engines use the same brackets. 292 had its own.

Re: 250/292 Power Steering Brackets?

Must be due to the 292 being taller than the 194-250 motors. I'll just keep looking around for one or shell out some doe ray me's for the aftermarket one 4-5-6 sells. His set up looks super nice. Thanks

Search for 4-5-6chevytruck.com . He sells a power steering bracket kit for 63-66 Chevy trucks. The setup up looks well made. I just stumbled across it yesterday.

I would be very interested in the 292 brackets, what do you want for them?

TACLEM,

I don't have them as of yet. I'm hopeful to be negotiating for them in a parts trade today. Thanks,

Re: 250/292 Power Steering Brackets?

I have sold 2 sets of 292 brackets for $400 each. They are rare as hens teeth for non-intergral headed 292s (early ones)

Done, if you don't mind post them on here for others. I am on my iPad and they won't post to this site for some reason
