Need paint #'s for transfer case - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Restoring a 71 blazer to original..I know the transfer case was Chrysler red but I need the correct #'s or code for the paint. Anyone know ? Thanks

they were red? i always assumed they were painted the same orange as the engine. mine looks that way, at least.

We have not been able to find a matching red, so my son mixes
paint that is real close. He uses red and tints with black to make the match.

Here is a pic of the color that we end up with.
