New wiper blade problems...
I bought new wiper blades from Advance today and tried to fit them onto the old wiper arms on my 1968 C10. They look identical to the blades that were on the truck, but they will NOT stay on. I can find nothing wrong with them and I am furious about this. I think the wiper package was labeled "CLASSIC PARTS" or something. ???

Re: New wiper blade problems...
I meant to ask in the previous post for advice on the best wiper blades for this truck. The Advance Auto ones are a terrible disappointment.

Re: New wiper blade problems...
Thanks for all the help! I was able to find TRICO refillable rubber strips and had them installed today in the OLD wiper blade mounts. I sent those TRICO Classic Parts JUNK wiper blades back to the store because they would NOT stay on the wiper arms for ANYTHING. This is ridiculous because they were IDENTICAL in look to the old ones. Anyone else on here ever have this problem with TRICO wiper blades?

Re: New wiper blade problems...
They probably would not stay on because the were for the larger wiper arm. They require a small adapter. If you slid them on and they were sloppy its because you have the smaller arm end and all the repops I have found are for the larger end arm.
