We have a 1972 with original big block but the transmission isn't correct. Anyone have a nice 1972 TH400 transmission?

I believe I have one in my storage unit. I'll check tomorrow. I assume your going to rebuild it?

I have one also, was good when parked but has been several years since used. I would freshen it. 1972 3/4 ton Big Block Truck. $100.00 firm + shpg. for transmission, torque convertor and dipstick and tube.

We C10 (1/2 ton truck) not a C20 (3/4 ton). Not sure it if matters. I'm hoping to find one that is dated correctly for the year.

Can you tell me what the numbers are on the tag are? That'll help me determine if what you have will work.

Yes, I plan on rebuilding. I just want a good candidate.

I have one out of a 72 caprice. you could swap the tail.

I have a Turbo 400 that I was using in my 69 C10 with my BB 396. It was working great, but I just swapped it out 2 months ago for a 700R4. I have the Transmission, the driveshaft and the Torque Converter.

I would be willing to trade all of that for a 72 C10 Cowl Hood in Great Condition. White preferred.

ksbrktracer, the one you sent was a good try but I need one manufactured before April of 1972. Looks like yours was in May. If you have anything else let me know.

Mike, tag says 72-CJ 23321, its bent up some, I tried to get pic but its dark out there. I'll try to get pics in daylight
