71 grill compatable with 69 c10

I have a 1969 c10 longbed im restoring but i like the 71 grill with turn signals in bumper. Can i install 71 grill on my 69? Thanks for any info.

Yes you can. Many trucks have done this mod. I guess most do it since the 1971 grill is cheaper.

I think it's pretty much a drop in, but the center grille support bracket below the latch is different. Think that's about all you'll need other than grille, bumper and parking/turn signal lights.

So the rings or bezels that attach on the 69 grill around headlights will attach to the 71 grill with no problems? And one more question, any info on where would be a good place to buy the 71 c10 grill setup? And thank you for the responses. I really appreciate it.

Bezels are the same size and shape, but the original 69/70 bezels are painted (black) steel and the 71/72 bezels are polished aluminum. I'd suggest a junkyard for the center support bracket, but the grilles in junkyards are usually toast. Any vendor should have reproductions. You can also look on the parts for sale board.

I have a extra center support bracket if you want it.. I'm swapping out my grill this Friday and the used grill I got has a center bracket also

As mentioned,... the center support is different and so is the hood latch.

Ok so im not just needing a center support bracket? I also need to change hood latch too? If so, is the hood latch pretty straight forward to swap out?
