WTB: 67-72 SWB Fleetside bed

I know this is what everyone is looking for, but I have to ask on here because I am restoring a fairly rarely equipped factory 402 BB 1970 CST short bed, and the bed floor is terrible in it, and I need to find a nice short bed to use. I am aware of what nice beds cost and have cash. regardless of what state you are in I can get a U-ship shipper to come get it so getting it to Alabama is not a problem.

Main thing is to buy a whole bed that the bed floor and side walls inside are as straight as can be had, and as pit free and scale rust free as can be had. The outer bedsides can need work, but the bed I am looking for will not need a lot of stud-gun work or have any stretched metal, etc. PM me for my tel # or email address and tell me what you have. Thank you

Re: WTB: 67-72 SWB Fleetside bed

Deeply appreciate Mgkgmc, Pacificustoms and the folks who PM'd me about different beds out there, but so far none had a nice metal floor in them - some nice rarer wood floor beds, but I do prefer a metal floor bed for this truck....please if any of you know of a bed you have not already mentioned, do please let me know through this thread or PM....thank you for your help! Steve

Re: WTB: 67-72 SWB Fleetside bed

Im just asking because I don't know- is there a substantial difference in a repop floor and GM floor? I think the new goodmark floor is about $1k. If you dont mind the work on the bedsides, you might find a good bed and replace the floor with a new one.
