tranny wont work need help
i just finished my tranny swap and fired up my truck. motor runs good for siting for 8 months. i had the truck in the air when i fired it up. shifted it in to first and it work for a few mins but stop working. after i fired up the truck the tranny fluid went down alot, would that effect anything.i need some help guys.

Of course it went down alot! It had to fill the convertor!
Put some more fluid in it. |

auto trannies take alot of fluid // not unusual for 12quarts to fill depending on which tranny u have// i'd check b4 doing anything else without the proper amt of fluid the transmission is not long for this world
