C20 Build
Hello All!
I just wanted to share my 61 C20 with y'all. I got it for a great price and after adding some gas and a new starter, waalaa....it runs! One of the first things I did to the truck was to remove the old clunky camper mirrors. The truck doors look like Swiss Cheese because of all the mirror holes. Any ideas on how to fix these? I also have tons of holes on the top side of the bed rails....looks like it has had a few campers on it as well. Anyway, I think I'm just going to get it running, lower it as low as I can without bags and drive it around as a Rat Rod for a while. I would eventually like to get an Acc-Air Suspension on there...that's a few $$$ down the road. Let me know what you guys think. ![]() |

Re: C20 Build
Welcome to the forum.
I am really the last guy who should give advice but on those old mirror holes, why not just spot weld them up, grind back, primer and a spot of yellow rattle can till you do the full build.

Re: C20 Build
Welcome and nice 62. The three forward holes here on the door under the windshield w/the screws are the original mounting holes for the mirror arms if it did not come with the west coast mirrors. The other holes I would just weld up and you'll be fine.
