window regulators

Is there a way to lube the mechanism to help make the window go up and down smoother? Are there aftermarket parts that i can replace existing parts? If so what should be replaced?

Re: window regulators

You can pull the door panel and pit some grease where the gears mesh but my guess is your rollers have flat spots. That is what I have found anytime I have had the same issue. Most suppliers sell new rollers and worse case scenario you can buy a new repro regulator for under $40.
