Coil Springs - 1965 or 73-87?
Before I order parts I thought I had better ask...
So, I have 73-87 drop spindles that I am installing on my 1965 C-10 and I was wondering if I match the replacement coil springs to the control arms (65) or the spindle (73-87). I'm assuming that I need to match to the control arms as this is where the spring is housed, but I wanted to make sure... Thanks!

Re: Coil Springs - 1965 or 73-87?
When I ordered my springs from ECE I ask the same question. 81 a-arms and a 66 crossmember. Short answer, they are the same springs.
Several different companies springs are listed as the same part number whether listed as a 65-66 or as an 85. The 65-66 is listed as a "C10 Pickup" where the 85 is simply listed as a C10. Many of the part numbers are the same.
