is my diff broke
Hello, I put my rear end on jack stands to do some brake work.
While I have it up I thought that I could find out what gears were in it by turning the drive shaft while in neutral. I turn the shaft and nothing moves ? I did drive it into the garage so I don't think anything could be broken but why doesn't it turn the wheel? Thanks. |

If you're turning the drive shaft, something is moving. Watch the axles closely when you do it.

Re: is my diff broke
Thank you for reply.
I just dragged my daughter out to the garage to help, it looks like 3.08. I checked three times yesterday and would have lost a bet on there movement. |
