What one tank is considered to be the best choice for an under bed installation?

I don't want to debate keeping the tank inside the cab.

I have heard the Early 70's Blazer tank, or some of the Suburban tanks, Mustang tank even a 55 Chevy car tank. I do not want to order a kit, I like the repurposing idea of an older tank.

This would be for a step side with the filler coming out the rear of the drivers back fender.

Not claiming it's the best but Lakeroadster used an early 50's Chevy passenger car in his step side that worked out nicely.

I've not done it. But if I were gonna do it, I'd really consider using a Fa fa fa fuuuurd Fa fa fa faaaalcon tank.

WE WANTED TO AVOID THE HAZARDS OF AN OLD FUEL TANK, (RUST ETC) SO WE BOUGHT THE 84 BLAZER FUEL TANK KIT.......YOU COULD LOOK FOR ONE AND IF THATS WHAT YOU GOT, CLICK HERE TO SEE HOW IT LOOKS FINISHED.

WE MADE A FEW CHANGES ALONG THE WAY (IN TANK FUEL PUMP FOR THROTTLE BODY, AND CHANGED THE WAY THE STRAPS MOUNTED.
