Build Thread For my Big rig Build
Howdy yall,
Im in the process of graduating this year, After high school i plan to go to school for fabrication an mechanics. Now in order to pay my dues to these schools i planned on driving a truck for my fathers company. But ol me can roll a new truck no sir! i may have been born in the 90's but im in love with the 50's,60's and 70's the golden years of truck driving. But i dont have a 71' K dub w900a laying around cause if i did i wouldn't be making this thread. I have currently a 1970 c50 cab an chassis single axle. it has an Aluminum Box on the back. but Scrap yard calls ! i plan to see if the frame is still salvageable. If so ill remove the stock rear and find a complete mack rear leaf suspension. then pull the tired 292 and replace with a s60 Detroit diesel and start on body work . Hopefully (not holding my breath) i can find a decent Mercury aluminum sleeper. What do y'all reckon ? I will be working for a Cattle company so she will be a bull hauler!

It's going to be a challenging project, but keep us posted on it.
Your '69 C-20 sounds pretty good. Do you have pictures of it on the Pick-up forum? Bill
