Dual Battery Tray Installation - Help! - Pictures?
No idea why I didn't take good photos, but my truck has dual batteries. When I blew it apart 2 years ago or whatever I guess I assumed I'd just "remember" the layout, but I do not.
There are a couple of things that move as a result, like the voltage regulator (or maybe it has two - I really don't recall). Can't find anything in the assembly manual, either. At this point I'd settle for a decent photo of an existing setup, but any help in finding a diagram, etc, would be very much appreciated. Thanks! Dave

Re: Dual Battery Tray Installation - Help! - Pictures?
Take a look at post 6 in this thread. It's from the Blazer forum, but it sounds like this is from Pete's (DeadheadNM) K20. Post 11 talks about the voltage regulator mounting.

This is driver's side. I hope this helps. Just putting my 71 back together and saw your post.

Here you go - I've been through this twice now. Did you save the RPO specific washer fluid bracket that mounts on the RH? Good luck! Pete

Re: Dual Battery Tray Installation - Help! - Pictures?
Thx! I do not recall, and do not now seem to have, a second junction block on the passenger side. Going back to my original photos, there's only a single one. Truck is a Sierra Grande Custom Camper and the SPID has TP2. It was a one-owner-most-of-its-life and was almost completely unmolested. I don't even see witness marks of one being there before.
I do have the special washer bracket. Other than a fusible link between the two, it doesn't seem to serve much of a purpose (though that's a good one).
