TV Cable bracket...

Does anyone have a picture of this bracket installed on a edelbrock carb....I'm curious about how it mounts and it's actual size....

Thanks...

dont waste your money. i took a pice of 1/8" x 1/2" steel, and cut ti to length. drilled a couple of holes in it, and put a fitting on one end like the one on the carb. works great, just make sure you get it the right length.

Yeah, I've decided that at the very least, it's to expensive. This website gives good explantion about how to fabricate your own bracket.... I'm just curious how the other bracket hooks up, it looks weird to me, and what the scale the thing is....It must be a very small piece....

A guy from Chevy talk is sending me pics of that bracket once he mounts it on his carb. I'm curious too. Pricey for such a small bracket. I also have the problem of cruise control. I just can't add that bracket without changing it.

I've been doing a little research and am of the opinion that the above mentioned bracket is worthless. The stock mounting hole on the eddy linkage is exactly 1.125" from the center of the bell crank pivot, which is the same as the stock carb linkage.

I think a more useful kit, yet more expensive, is the one offered by Bowtie Overdrives, their TV Made EZ kit.... I finally have mine shifting right, but I think I'm going to order this kit, when I can afford it, replace the throttle valve spring in the tranny and do a shift kit all at the same time.... But, before I do all of that, I'm going to have to get my lockup working right and I think I'm going to buy one of BTO's 2200 rpm stall converters, $154.00..... where does it end??? And I'm just getting started...I've spent about $3000 on the engine and tranny over the last month, just getting it driveable....Gotta take a breath for a month or so....
