5.7 and a 4l60e

I bought a 97 Tahoe to with 200k miles on it and I want to use engine and tranny. I'm lost on what to do about the 4l60e. I've read post about modding the tps.
Any links or info would help thanks

Re: 5.7 and a 4l60e

Have the 4l60e rebuilt by a good local shop, ask them what to do to it to avoid problems. The 4l60e is the same as a 700r4 and they can be made pretty reliable (unless you are drag racing) As long as you are using the computer and wiring harness that came with the engine and trans you should have no problems with. it........Kieth
