drive line angles after dropping truck
have a 84 chevy crew cab c-30 dually;;did a supper slam on it;;3" drop spindles/2" drop coil springs on front;;;;flip kit and 2" front spring hangers;;;has a 4 speed trans with a gear vender aux trans aft;;took bed off to prep for new paint and noticed that rear of drive shat at pinion is at a very big pich[loot close at pinion nut and looks as if u-joint has smashed end of theards on rear end yoke but don't see marks on joint..just doesn't look correct to me;;on the flip kit i got a low budget one that basic thing was just new spring perches to weld to housing..didn't have the plates sticking up on ends that rest up against the old perches to keep pinion angle same ...should i using pinion angle shims say to bring front of rearend yoke up where it is straight with the drive line;;going be using truck to tool a 38' car trailer long ways next summer and don't want vibrations and u-joints breaking on highway;;also seem in some rear flip kits they have a carrier bearing spacer to lower the driveline carrier bearing and then look at other kits and they don't show this..sorry for long theard but wanted to give as much details as could so can get more correct fixes;;
