Doa 1970 c20 . . .

Has been starting/running great but I went out to go for a ride and not so much as a click when I turn the key. Lights don't work, either. Cleaned my battery connections (they were already clean) and that didn't help. I tried to jump it but it had no effect at all . . . not so much as a click when I turn the key when trying to jump it. I don't see any blown fuses, either. Battery appears fairly new (Diehard) but I don't know the history.

Thoughts? Would a completely and utterly dead battery act like this?

Appreciate the help . . .

Jeff

Make sure you a have power to the little wire terminal on passenger fender. This provides power to fuse panel under the dash. I had a completey dead battery once and had to double jump it. Maybe just try new battery or check for voltage

Re: Doa 1970 c20 . . .

Thanks for the reply. I went out and bought a new battery and all is well. Never had one totally give up the ghost like that with no warning and be unresponsive to a jump. Good to go now.
Thanks!!
Jeff
