Frame swap question '72 body on '66 frame
Would a cab and bed from a '72 bolt up to a '63-'66 frame? I have done some searching, and it looks like the only difference is in the core support crossmember. Aside from this, is everything else the same?

Re: Frame swap question '72 body on '66 frame
This is purely an educated guess but I am gonna say yes it will. Going on the fact that the front suspension is the same from 60-70 as is the basic steering and I think the rear suspension as well. The first step in this process would be to check the specs and see if both carried the same wheelbase and over all length and width. Look up some frame books they will give you the basic mounting points as measuring take away places to mark from when on the frame machine. If you have to after finding them print each one off then set them side by side going one side to another comparing measuring places. This will assure you weather or not the frame will work for you. Keep us updated, I see those frames pop up all the time for cheap around here.

Re: Frame swap question '72 body on '66 frame
There are differences, mostly in the front section of the frame, mostly from the crossmember forward, the core support mounts are different, and the front frame horns are different. Behind the crossmember I believe they are the same mostly... not 100% sure. but it's not a bolt on, I know that. You can do a search for "frame differences" and you'll find a bunch of threads.
