Chevrolet lists 100 years of icon models, and 67-72 trucks are on there twice
Pretty cool article with pictures on the Chevrolet web site. They mention how the new '67 managed to look car like, yet rugged at the same time. I think that's one reason why I like these. A truck from the muscle car era, with similar styling cues

Great info and I'm surprised they didn't include anything about the GMT 400 series of trucks.

What about the 73+ Suburban? I dont know about the rest of the country, but here back in the 80's here in Texas, you couldnt throw a stick without hitting one. They had the SUV market covered! Over the years, my dad had an 82,86,96 and 02!
