'67 Short bed chassis bagged with Porterbuilt
I am building a C10 for my wife and had planned on doing a mild build for her and now she wants a truck that will lay frame. I decided it would be easier for me to sell this chassis and build a different one with dropmembers. Located in Lubbock, TX.
-Details- '67 short bed chassis '71 5 lug rear end (unsure of gear ratio) '86 front cross member, control arms Power steering gear box and steering components '73-'87 3" Belltech drop spindles for 1" rotors Used rotors, bearings, seals, dust caps, hardware Porterbuilt Stage 1 front suspension Porterbuillt Stage 2 deluxe rear suspension (minus trailing arms) CPP front sway bar Boyd Welding fuel cell No rear brakes Wheels and tires not included in sale Asking $3000 as is. No cab or front end included. That basically covers parts and makes labor free. I would be happy to finish the build for someone if they were interested. We can discuss the details on what all needs to be finish to wrap this chassis up.

Re: '67 Short bed chassis bagged with Porterbuilt
Do you know if I can basically just put my 1969 shortbed cab, front clip and bed on to this 67 frame?

If I had the money to purchase the frame I would tell you that it won't work for your application, but would be perfect for mine.

I updated the original post, I looked over the chassis again and forgot that that it had a few more items. I will try to pull the cab/front end off in the next few days and get some better pictures. If the chassis does not sell in the next few weeks I am going to steam ahead and get it plumbed, wired, powder coated, brakes installed etc etc. it will still be for sale at that point just at a higher price. I have the accuair components, wilwood front d52 calipers, wilwood rear disc conversion as well as a few other things that are sitting on the shelf ready to go.

Re: '67 Short bed chassis bagged with Porterbuilt
Is this a true short bed or shortened long bed? Also, I understand that cab, wheels and front sheet metal not included, would you have any leads to cab, etc?
Thanks, Marc |

Re: '67 Short bed chassis bagged with Porterbuilt
Frame is a genuine GM short bed chassis from a '67 C10. At the time I unfortunately do not have any leads on a solid truck. I will keep my eyes open though.
