LS engine swap

I have a 1999 5.3 Vortex motor with a 4L60 E transmission hooked up to the original 205 Transfer case, my original turbo 350 tranny was only 3 speed the new one is a 4 speed can I make my original tilt wheel with the column shift into a 4 speed shift?

Re: LS engine swap

Yes, the detents are in the tranny not the column. Your column gear indicator may not line up. And, you may need to get an aftermarket cable or rod shifter, too.

I've used the original frame mounted rod shifter on the 2wd swap, Lokar cable on the blazer, and made a rod with heim joints for the crewcab/allison.
